Proper management of the baggage sorting system and efficient check-in processes require accurate insights in the amount of bags to be expected. At Airport Intelligence we have developed strong Machine Learning algorithms to make sound baggage forecasts both for local departing as well as for transfer bags. These insights allow among others for an improved check-in allocation planning, less operational disruptions in the baggage sorting system and the possibility to plan the maintenance of infrastructure without operational impact.
